Out of network Reimbursement

Payment is due at the end of each session. After each session, you will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.  Reimbursement amounts are dependent on your insurances out-of-network reimbursement rates.

Why not use insurance and pay out of pocket?

Insurances require a mental health diagnosis for billing purposes. Some clients who may seek and benefit from therapy may not have a mental health diagnosis.

Insurance determines how many sessions and how long each session can be.

Insurance only allows certain modalities and will not cover certain trauma modalities.

Some insurances charge different rates for in-person vs. telehealth services and/or don't offer telehealth benefits.

Insurances can request and review all treatment notes as an "audit".
